The Chaos Initiative, LLC uses this event signup system only to help attendees join tabletop gaming waitlists, receive table-ready notifications, and help event staff manage table seating.
Information We Collect
We may collect gamer tag, selected event/game, selected day or time slot, Commander bracket or skill preferences when applicable, email address, and phone number if an attendee chooses to provide one for event notifications.
How We Use Information
We use signup information only to manage event waitlists, seat attendees at tables, send table-ready notifications, measure event activity, and improve future event planning.
How We Do Not Use Information
We do not sell attendee data. We do not use signup contact information for unrelated marketing. We do not share attendee contact information with sponsors, vendors, or outside parties for their own marketing.
SMS And Email Notifications
Email may be used as a fallback for transactional event notifications when an attendee does not opt in to SMS. SMS is optional. We send SMS only when an attendee provides a phone number and checks the separate, optional SMS consent box. Table-ready SMS updates are enabled for that signup after the checkbox is selected and the signup is submitted. These messages are only for event signup and table-management purposes, and every table-ready SMS includes STOP and HELP instructions.
The SMS opt-in box states: “By checking, you are allowing to receive transactional/informational SMS communications regarding your table status from The Chaos Initiative, LLC. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply, reply HELP for help or STOP to opt-out. Click for Privacy and Terms and Conditions.”
Data Sharing
We may share limited information only with service providers that help operate the event system, such as hosting, email, SMS, or database providers.
No mobile information will be shared with third party/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention
Event contact information is intended for short-term event operations. Email and phone data is deleted within 30 days after collection unless it must be retained longer for security, operational, or legal reasons.
